Born and raised on the bayous of Louisiana, Earl Broussard has a lifelong passion for storytelling and landscape architecture. His journey has taken him from his beloved LSU to the halls of Harvard University, where he received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in landscape architecture, respectively, to teaching at Texas A&M and Louisiana State Universities, and across the globe as a working professional. Twenty-five years ago he fell in love with a woman and Austin, Texas, where he began TBG Partners, and under Earl’s leadership it has become the largest landscape architecture and planning firm in the Southwest. Earl's ADD has allowed him to serve on his home City Council for 12 years and receive two governor's appointments for the State of Texas; he is currently serving as the first ever landscape architect on the Texas Historic Commission. All the while, Earl has worked on multiple university campuses to design spaces that create memory and place for future generations.
